Fillman Law Offices is a full service law firm handling
transactional matters such as estate planning, wills,
trusts, corporate and business law, real estate law,
probate, residential and farm leases as well as civil
and criminal litigation, including family law, divorce,
child custody, personal injury, landlord tenant, and
other civil litigation.
The firm was established by Gordon Fillman in 1958
after he left active service as a legal officer for
the United States Navy. He has served for more than
40 years as the counsel for Perennial Public Power.
He practices primarily in the transactional area of
wills, trusts, real estate, and corporate and business
law.
Steven Fillman joined the firm in 1997 after serving
for four years on active duty in the Navy JAG corps.
He served as a Navy prosecutor and also handled hundred
of federal criminal appeals in Washington D.C. as a
defense counsel while serving in the JAGC.
Since returning to his home in York, Nebraska in 1997
he has been practicing in transactional law as well
as criminal and civil litigation. He handles a wide
variety of civil litigation including family law, divorce,
child custody, personal injury, landlord tenant cases,
and other areas of civil litigation.
